Mechanical Design

Mechanical design is foundation of our business. We use 3d solid modeling, in either Inventor or SolidWorks, to develop virtual prototypes for our clients. These models allow us to explore various design configurations, perform stress analysis, and analyze complex mechanical behavior without having to build costly prototypes. Years of experience designing castings as well as machined and fabricated parts allows us to quickly develop cost-effective designs. We can supplement your in-house design staff or provide complete product design services for your business.

Prototyping

In addition to mechanical design, we also provide prototype production and system fabrication services. Our in-house 4axis milling machine and CAM software allow us to machine prototype parts in single quantities up to low volume production. We also have general fabrication capabilities in house and utilize our network of business partners to deliver a wide range of mechanical parts.

Software Development

Spring Mountain Technologies provides our clients with superior software design and development services for engineering based projects. We understand software technologies like polymorphism, virtual inheritance, and database schemas - which many engineers do not. We also understand the world of Reynolds numbers, pipe schedules, bending stresses, and heat transfer coefficients - which many software developers do not.
